This is a reminder to fill out 2 applications when you’re back. Should be Thurs, God-willing.

Also to remind me to take sanitation seriously. & toilets. & cool air. & to basically be thankful for everything. Like this trip.

Royal

Suuuuuper hot. I look forward to bathing twice a day. I’ve also been a great buffet for these mosquitoes. I counted more than 14 bites on my second day here. I’m already learning a lot, and in the future, I still wanna keep in touch with my fam here. Last time I was here (I was here), I was miserable. But now, I’ve come with an open mind and without siblings, which.. brings me outta my comfort zone. I’m still here for 2 weeks, but hopefully I’ll have gotten super used to this place, this heat, this lifestyle.. ish. I’m also finally drinking Royal in a suput (plastic bag). Another favorite discovery: avocado ice cream! Life here is so diff, but it’s also simple living. Currently in day 4. One day at a time.

My bro & I talked bout the Hunger Games on the way home fr the airport, along with other things which filled the entire car ride fr LAX. But I mean.. a good portion was talking bout the Hunger Games. Who’d have known out of all subjects, hahah. It was pretty amusing. If it were 2 years ago, the old me would’ve been surprised jus because we talked in general. We’ve come a long way, hahah. A lot can happen in 2 years time. Two years fr now, I’ll be receiving a treat fr the me of now. I wonder what kind of a person I will have become then. Time’ll tell, if the world hasn’t ended yet.
